InSET as part of the TRUE-BLUE Project participated in the training of trainers organized in the framework of the TRUE-BLUE project - CEI support to Training and Research to Unlock and Enhance the potential of sustainable BLUE Economy for regional cooperation and EU integration

Where? In Trieste (Italy) and in Piran (Slovenia)

𝟭𝟱 public administration officials from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro were hosted and actively participated in lectures, field trips, and interactive activities focusing on sustainable blue economy issues in the perspective of progressing towards EU standards and policies.

The kick-off of the training of trainers took place on Monday at the EMUNI University, where the participants were welcomed by the President and Director of the Center of Excellence of Sustainable Blue Economy. They also had the opportunity to visit the RIBOGOJNICA FONDA in Piran as an example of aquaculture and sustainable tourism.

The project and the training of trainers activity is co-financed by the OGS - Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale and by the Central European Initiative - CEI through the Know-how Exchange Programme (KEP) with the contribution of the Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale
