InSET joins the EIT-BEST Project Consortium

The Institute for Development, Environment and Tourism (InSET) is pleased to announce its participation as a partner in the EIT-BEST project, a European-funded initiative aimed at strengthening the capacities of EIT National Contact Points (NCPs), increasing participation in EIT and KICs calls, and fostering synergies across Europe’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

As part of the official launch of the project, the EIT-BEST Kick-off Meeting was held on 10–11 December 2025 in Brussels, at the DLR / KoWi Conference Room, bringing together all consortium partners to align on project objectives, structure, governance, and implementation plans.

During the Kick-off Meeting, partners discussed the overall work plan, coordination mechanisms, quality assurance procedures, and communication strategies, laying the foundations for effective collaboration during the first year of project implementation.

Within the EIT-BEST project, InSET contributes actively to several key Work Packages, including:

WP1 – Communication, outreach, and awareness-raising activities,

WP2 – Capacity building and development of supporting materials for EIT NCPs,

WP4 – Increasing participation in EIT and KICs calls,

WP5 – Building synergies at European, national, and local levels.

Through its involvement in EIT-BEST, InSET reinforces its commitment to supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and capacity building, while promoting the integration of Albanian and regional stakeholders into the European EIT framework and Horizon Europe programmes.

📌 InSET will continue to share updates and results from the EIT-BEST project throughout its implementation.
