RecyclArt: projectual creative recycling to payback the environment

Purpose of the project

InSET si pjesë e partneritetit dhe e projektit #RecyclArt do të organizojë në muajin qershor workshopin për trainim, i cili do të zhvillohet për 3 ditë intensive dhe do të përfshijë një ekseperiencë ndëraktive të të mësuarit me trainimin, sikurse të punuarit në praktikë brenda ekipeve të punës për të realizuar në fund disa produkte.
Aplikimi pranohet deri në 3 qershor ora 16.00 PM , bëhet përmes dërgimit në email: [email protected] një kopje të cv (europass) dhe letër motivimi. Inkurajojmë të rinjtë që janë të papunë të aplikojnë për të përfituar nga ky trainim 3 ditor.


As part of RecyclArt Project, Institute for Sustainable Development, Environment and Tourism (InSET) will organize the Training Workshop in the beginning of June 2022.


The RecyclArt Project is centered around shaping one's career in creative ways. Art can be not only a career path, but also a career objective. In our experience, art is an activity that brings great joy, stimulates ambition, and gives respite. Development through art, in addition to recycling art, is the direction we promote in the RecyclArt project.

Through promoting this project, we increase overall awareness for #socialeducation, developing and pushing #startupcreation #socialinclusion, through which we intend to increase #emplyment, generate #income an #output for our countries.

Three intensive days training workshop will be organized in Tirana, and will include interacting Learning with training experience, as well as working in practical experience in working group, realizing at the end several products.

Request and documentation needed are:

• a europass format cv;
• a letter of motivation for participating in this training;
• individuals need to be unemployment.

Except training working modules; will be provide several exercises with skills – creating a form for identify skills that they already have, skills to be improved, or to be added; as well as producing concrete examples of recycling, wrapping up of with the discussion and some theoretical points to be underlined related to how we should choose the career for long-term employment opportunities.


Main objective of the project is Innovation. This project aims to develop a transnational programme for the promotion of activities on recycling waste among ADULTS, firstly developing and secondly exploiting their creativity.

RecyclART will develop creative skills of learners by encouraging them in using unwanted materials by activating the learners' skills to be effective in problems solving, thinking creatively, gaining aesthetic value, self evaluating and self- recognition.

Short Description

This project deals with two dimensions of creative recycling, Occasional creative recycling and Projectual creative recycling. Occasional activity relates with recycling and reusing with no project behind. Projectual creative recycling is a systematic activity of recycling and reusing.

This is an Erasmus+ project in Adult Education section, with participation of 6 Organizations from Greece, Italy, Poland, Romania and Albania. Our partners in this project are OIKIPA, PROMIMPRESA, DIEK Agriniou, AESD.

The project focuses on the following priorities:

• Skills development and inclusion through creativity and arts
• Environmental and climate goals
• Supporting the setting up of and access to upskilling pathways

RecyclART develops creative skills of Long-term unemployed adults They are encouraged to use waste materials by using skills such as problems solving, thinking creatively, gaining aesthetic value, self- evaluating and self-recognition. Art therapy methods are promoted, to include communities at risk of marginalization. Adult educators using creative methodologies and artists working or having worked with recycling and realisation of new objects using waste are involved to mentor adult learners.

ReclyART will reach the Long-term unemployed adults through job centres and relevant services supporting access to the labour market.

Recycling activities especially through Art can create a strong base for social enterprises, which main aim is address challenges through an enterprising approach. The challenge of unemployment among Adults can be addressed to include in the labor market the communities at risk and marginalization. Through the activities one of the aims is to create employment, but especially in terms of Social entrepreneurs who can be agents of positive change. In case of recycling through art, the unemployed adults will develop businesses which trade for an environmental purpose. They learn through RecyclARt how to create jobs and bring hope to our most disadvantaged communities, delivering social, environmental

and economic value. Through their innovative approaches to reduce inequalities, social enterprises in recycling, might even provide a model for rebalancing the control of money and power in the recycling industry.

In this aspect, the project not only delivers the adequate trainings, but especially fosters new method for recycling using ART:

1. Support training activities to raise their creativity through recycling activities, in order to develop fundamental skills to re-enter the job market;
2. Enhance the sense of initiative, sense of responsibility, self confidence and self-efficacy of the unemployed through the training activity in order to stimulate their commitment.These are also skills related to entrepreneurship.
3. Give Innovative approach among partners and adult learners to recycling and reusing activities;
4. Give tools and key competences related to “projectual creative recycling”
5. Supply Learning materials to foster the improvement of skills on the topic of projectual creative recycling

The role of InSET

Involvement in the project is fundamental for our ability and expertise in realizing studies and researches, seminars and trainings that contribute in creating innovative models and designing and supporting sustainable policies in local and central levels.

• Deliver the study on “Best practices on “ocasional creative recycling” among ADULT PEOPLE”, - ALBANIA Report
• Research in Social Enterprise issues related to recycling through Art
• Offering new knowledge to public sector, to improve strategies related to employment and social enterprise in field of recycling
• Foster some expected outcome such as increase of businesses in the field of recycling through art, increase of social impact
• Raised participation of young people in actions related to environmental protection through training in projectual creative recycling through art.
• Dissemination of outputs of the project through the newsletter
• Foster networking and partnership among partners in the days of Transnational Project Meeting in Albania.
• Creating the next generation leaders in Social enterprises, civil society and governing through environmental issues discussion and especially on recycling

Project Future

The project is ongoing and ends in March 2023. Even after the project there are plans for the sustainability of the project. The project will involve local/regional/multinational companies in the mainstreaming strategy with the aim of increasing the project’s effectiveness in the implementation phase and developing a sustainability strategy; in the long term, these stakeholders will benefit of more skilled trainers/artists/workers and of procedures/schemes/habits that link them to the environmental need of local/regional territories.

• Local and regional employers will be able to enjoy a new workforce that has developed creative skills that can be used both in the recycling and in the field of work problem solving.
• But moreover more entrepreneurs in the field of social enterprise will be present in the market.
